The Drive Around Olympic NP...

Sequim to Hoquaim - May 14th.

The road led around the Olympic National Park...up and down mountains, beside cold lakes and rivers. One soon becomes jaded to the multitude of glorious views and panoramas available.
The road was a constantly-turning snake through the mountains. We tried to never take our eyes off the scenery.
How often do folks from Tampa, Florida see mountains layered in clouds, all hanging over an icy cold mountain lake?
The mountain lake, viewed up close, was so very, very clear.
The peaceful quiet was uninterupted, except for the loud passing of logging trucks every few minutes. The early-season left us in cool weather, and without serious competition for the views along the highways.

Beautiful!
